About Me

Rita Paré
Rita Paré, MA, RCC # 12761

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. I have a speciality in treating Complex PTSD and Dissociation.

I believe in the counselling process wholeheartedly. I have seen personally and professionally that when we do not repair what is problematic in our lives, we often repeat it. Through the counselling experience it is possible to change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, and to regulate emotions. I am truly passionate about the work I do and feel privileged to be afforded the opportunity to assist clients in their healing journey. I am committed to the process of ongoing learning and supervision to uphold the high standards of service every client of therapy deserves.
